H.E.L.P.

Today during a exclusive interview with the Security Council delegate from UK gave the ACP some very important information on their resolution. The name of the plan is H.E.L.P. health, education, learning and protection. The general idea of this plan is that they will replace the refugee camps with H.E.L.P. camps. H.E.L.P. camps will be for children ages 18 and under.
For the H aspect of this it will be similar to Doctors Without Borders, they plan to send health care professionals to developing countries so that the children can get the health care help they need so that they can grow up as healthy individuals.
For the E aspect of the plan they will try to teach them about their history as well as the current events of what is going on around them. They want them to know not only what is going on around them but also why.
As far as the 3rd part, L for Learning, goes they plan to teach them important skills like carpentry or cooking so that they have the base skills for their futures, and so that when they are older they will have knowledge of trades that could help them help their economy.
The final part is P for protection; they want to get them away from terrorism or any other violent crimes.
This plan is meant to be a three tier plan separated into three years; with the HELP part will be the second year. In the first year they are just trying to make it clear to the children that these camps are available. In the third year they try to get them to flow back into society so they start applying the skills that they have learned and start building a new tomorrow. During the third year they are going to take down the camps, replacing HELP camps with HELP stations. In larger urban areas they will have buildings for abused mothers or children. In the rural areas they plan to have help vans that will be traveling around trying to distribute the same services over a larger area.
When the council put this to a vote it was passed by consensus. I personally think that this is a very well put together plan and feel that this committee is working great together.
